Izmir, Turkey, September 13, 2009. 26 years after their silver medal in East Berlin, Poland clinched gold at the 2009 Men’s European Championships in Izmir. The East Europeans overpowered France 3:1 (29-27, 25-21, 16-25, 26-24).
